Subnautica 2 Seeds & Coordinate Sharing
Share the starting landmark, compass bearing, depth and game version when describing a route. Use the interactive map for existing locations and the base-location guide to compare practical outposts.
Why "seeds" works differently here
- Subnautica 2 is built around a hand-crafted ocean planet. Traditional procedural-seed sharing in the Minecraft sense does not apply here unless Unknown Worlds adds a seed system later.
- Coordinate sharing replaces seed sharing. A useful report still needs its starting landmark and game version.
- Treat early Early Access coordinates as soft. Patches can shift POI positions, currents, or spawn rules during Early Access.
- Co-op sessions add a second layer: the host's save state, not just the world, determines what each guest sees.
Submission format
Use these fields when recording a route for yourself or explaining it to another player. The examples describe what to record, not a new location to visit.
