Prepare the Builder
Complete the Habitat Builder route and bring the tool to a site with a reliable return route.
Step 2
Choose the shell size
Open Standard Elements, place a Corridor above solid terrain and use Grow/Shrink to choose its dimensions. Budget the materials displayed for that size before completing it.
Step 3
Add entry and power
Attach a Hatch using 1 Titanium and 1 Quartz. Connect a suitable power source and confirm oxygen is available inside before using it as your return point.
Step 4
Reserve room-sized equipment for a room
A Corridor works for basic shelter and storage, but a Processor or Scanner Station needs a larger room. Add the room when those facilities become your next objective.
