Power Plant and Observatory searches belong to the late Alien Ruins route family. Buddy System Hotfix 1 adds a recovery path for affected in-progress Axum Powerplant Turbines. The safest way to play this route is to connect the materials, tools, and return path first, then verify exact station text in the current build.
Route call: stabilize Alien Ruins travel before chasing Power Plant objectives. Bring Tadpole depth margin, repair supplies, Sonic Resonator planning, and storage space for Troilite, Axum, Conduit Crystal, and related materials. If a turbine was already in progress, update and reload before gathering replacement materials.

2. Build the material cluster
Power Plant searches overlap with Troilite, Axum Bacterial Culture, Conduit Crystal, Atacamite, Metal Farm, and Mangalloy planning. Treat these as one route family.
3. Preserve rare samples
Keep spare Troilite, Axum samples, and other route-sensitive materials for the connected Power Plant, Metal Farm, and Observatory objectives.
4. Plan the return trip
Leave storage space, repair margin, and a clear route back from the deeper Alien Ruins area.
5. Check the turbine state after Hotfix 1
Buddy System Hotfix 1 and its September 3 follow-up restore an in-progress Axum Powerplant Turbine ghost in affected saves. Reload the current branch before spending replacement materials; a newly reached turbine still uses its normal cost.
